Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Tennis HERO. By accessing or using our website (www.tennis-hero.com) or mobile application (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. About Tennis HERO

  • Tennis HERO is a platform designed to connect tennis players, organize leagues, tournaments, and facilitate social and competitive tennis activities. We aim to provide an engaging, safe, and fair environment for all tennis enthusiasts in Dublin and beyond.

  • The Platform is operated by:
    Tennis HERO LTD - Eglinton Court, Eglinton Rd, Donnybrook, Dublin, 4, Ireland

2. Definitions

  • User: Anyone who visits, registers, or uses the Platform, including players and spectators.

  • Player: A registered individual participating in Tennis HERO leagues or tournaments.

  • Match: A scheduled tennis game between one or more Players.

  • League/Tournament: Organized competitions managed through the Platform.

  • We / Us: Tennis HERO and its representatives.

3. Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date personal information.

4. Account Registration

  • Players must register with their full legal name.

  • Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

  • You are responsible for maintaining your account security, including your password.

5. Use of the Platform

  • The Platform may only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

  • Users must not:

    • Hack, disrupt, or damage the Platform.

    • Upload harmful software or viruses.

    • Impersonate other Users or Tennis HERO staff.

6. Matches and Leagues

  • Matches must be played in accordance with standard tennis rules and Tennis HERO guidelines.

  • Players must report match results accurately using the Platform.

  • Non-appearance without valid reason may result in penalties, including forfeits.

  • Tennis HERO reserves the right to reschedule, cancel, or adjust matches to maintain fair play.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Players must show respect and sportsmanship at all times.

  • Harassment, offensive language, or cheating is strictly prohibited.

  • Tennis HERO may suspend or ban users violating these rules.

8. Content and Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Platform, including logos, graphics, and tutorials, is the property of Tennis HERO.

  • You may only use content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  • By submitting content (photos, videos, comments), you grant Tennis HERO a worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display it in connection with the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”.

  • Tennis HERO is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in matches or use of the Platform.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

11. Payments

  • Any fees for league participation, subscriptions, or purchases are clearly stated on the Platform.

  • Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Irish courts.

13. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms are effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
