Why I created Tennis HERO ?

My name is Enrico, and I created Tennis Hero because I’m a true tennis lover. I started playing tennis in 2022, and in just a few years the sport became a real passion for me. What I love about tennis is that it combines so many things at once: physical effort like running and moving, mental focus to read the ball and anticipate shots, timing and coordination, and also social skills, because you always need to find partners and build connections with other players.

Tennis is one of the rare sports that works both the body and the mind. Some scientists even say that playing tennis can increase life expectancy by up to ten years. Through my own experience and by meeting players from different places, I discovered that people approach tennis in many different ways, but one thing always stood out: structured leagues are extremely beneficial for players.

Playing only friendly matches is fun, but it often lacks real competition. You don’t always count points seriously, and it’s harder to measure your progress. Having official matches gives you motivation, a sense of challenge, and clear markers of your performance and improvement. A weekly match becomes a moment where you push yourself to play your best.

Another important benefit is meeting new players of your level instead of staying only within the same small group. Leagues help players step out of their comfort zone, discover new opponents, and grow both technically and socially.

That’s why Tennis Hero is built around small groups of up to eight players, matched by level. The goal is to keep competition fair, motivating, and entertaining, while creating a friendly and dynamic atmosphere where everyone can improve, compete, and enjoy the game.
