Frogner Tennis is a historic and popular outdoor tennis venue located in Kirkeveien, 0368 Oslo, Norway â right next to the scenic Frognerparken and Vigeland Sculpture Park. It is Norwayâs largest outdoor tennis facility, featuring a total of 12 courts (typically nine clay/gravel courts and three hard-court surfaces), making it a central hub for tennis in Oslo during the warmer months.
The facility is open seasonally from early May to late September and welcomes everyone to book court times â membership is not required to play, though local club players and organized activities are also part of the program.
Frogner Tennis is managed by Monolitten IL on behalf of the Oslo municipality, combining a community-oriented approach with widely accessible booking options. The clubâs facilities include garderobes, a kiosk, and a tennis shop with equipment and stringing services, as well as opportunities to rent tennis shoes and rackets.
Whether youâre a casual player looking for a drop-in game, a family enjoying summer sports, or a local tennis enthusiast, Frogner Tennis offers a vibrant setting to play amidst one of Osloâs most beautiful park spaces.
